Chodzi mi o to by zrobić poradnik jak przerabiać modyfikacje styli na konkretnym przykładzie. Na forum wiele razy czytałem "pozmieniaj to co jest zapisane w pliku modyfikacji" lub "zmień temat modyfikowanych plików z default na twój" no tak tylko co i jak? Myślę że nie byłoby by to wielkim problemem dla osoby potrafiącej to zrobić, a wielu laiką ułatwiłoby czekania aż ktoś im podpowie... albo działania metodą prób i błędów. Przykładowo ja teraz chcę zmienić styl na forum a nie mogę, bo większość modyfikacji nie jestem po prostu w stanie wpisać w nowy styl.

Tu akurat chodzi o instalkę.., - rozpakowujesz plik instalacyjny interesującej Cię paczki, najlepiej zanim cokolwiek zainstalujesz i podglądasz plik instalacyjny, bo tam jest wszystko napisane, tj. instrukcja instalacji dla skryptów, ale to naprawdę easy, ponieważ właśnie ta instrukcjia mówi skryptom m/w - "znajdź taki i taki plik, znajdź w nim tak a taki fragment i zamień, lub dopisz to i to" - to tak w skrócie..
Rozpakuj jakąś paczkę to zobaczysz o czym mówię, a na wykład gdzie na siłę Ci wleją do głowy, to wiesz zapłac za szkołę i niech to robią.. tu nie ma jak i szanuj to że ludziom się chce pisac tutki i pomagać innym za free to kosztuje dużo pracy, a najczęściej okazuje się, że ci którym pomagamy są niewdzięczni bo raz że w ogóle nie szukali na forum, liczą, że ktoś za nich wsio zrobi, a kiedy się już takim pomoże, to nawet nie napiszą co im pomogło, żeby inni mogli skorzystać.., ale egoistom mówię won! mogą skorzystac raz, a kiedy znowy będą potrzebowac pomocy, to dam im linka do miejsca, gdzie najpierw powinni odpowiedzieć!, żeby i inni mogli skorzystać.. Wiedza? - fora takie jak to i specyfikacje, od forum i wszelkich modów.. (gł. pliki redme.txt)..

To Ci w zupełności wystarczy, ale uważaj, żebym nie odkrył jeśi jesteś leń, albo egoista, - pagibniesz..

Do każdej modyfikacji edytuje się inną część kodu w jakimś pliku (jaki plik konkretnie do czego służy było opisane ), także taki tutorial mija się z celem.

Ok nie zrozumieliśmy się...

Potrafię zmienić styl ale nie wykonam tego bo np. mod visual varning nie będzie tam śmigał bo nie wiem jak go wpisać w tamte pliki.. o to mi chodzi. OK więc mówicie rozpakować pliczek rozpakowałem i który plik odpowiada za instalację? Package-info?Wziąłem na rozpiskę mod sbox_140 (którego sposób na instalację znam bo siedizałem na forum) a teraz chciałbym abyście mi pokazali jak wyczytać to SAMEMU z pliku i nie zaśmiecać Was z kolejną prośbą... czy to jest złe?

This allows you to put put a shoutbox on your forum, and via SSI anywhere on your web site.
It links in with your members database, and shouting can be limited to admins, members or guests.

Please ensure you have uninstalled any previous versions before installing!

After installation you will need to add the shoutbox to your template. To do this just call the smfshout(); function
from somewhere within your template. You may need to add it as ', smfshout(), ' if you are inside an echo statement.

This is your basic shoutbox.  Your registers users type in a message and click shout.  Guests on your
site (if you give them access to the block) will type in their name, email address and message before
clicking shout.

The format of each 'shout' is Date, Name, Message.  If a registered user posts a shout, their name
becomes a link to their profile.  If a guest posts a shout, their name is a mailto: to the email
address they entered.

For administrators, there is also a delete button next to each individual shout.

Instructions:
1. Upload shoutdb.php into your board directory and run it (be sure to delete it afterwards).
2. Install from this mod file manually or using boardmod
3. Upload shout.php into your sources dir.
4. Upload deleteshout.gif to your $themedir/images directory
5. Anywhere in your template call the function smfshout() to show the shoutbox
6. Go into the Feature Settings page and choose the appropriate settings
7. Type in a message and click Shout!

For peopleupgrading from YABB SE:
The shoutdb.php script will give you the option of porting your shouts from YABB SE accross to SMF. Your settings should have been brought over with the SMF upgrade script. If for some reason this is not the case you will need to choose "upgrade" and then run the script again and choose "new". This will port your old shouts accross and reset the settings to the default values. The upgrade script duplicates your existing shoutbox table and upon completition will leave the old table untouched. If you are happy that the upgrade was successful you can delete the old table manually.

A word about temporary tables.  Shout.php uses a temporary table to call shouts, but ony when calling
shouts in Ascending order.  In order to call the most recent shouts from your database, the shouts must be
called in Descending order (otherwise you will always only get the first shouts that were entered up to
your limit, and never get the most recent shouts).  The temp table that is generated is unique to the user,
so there is no need to were about multiple users refreshing the page at the same time.  The table is dropped
as soon as the shouts are retrieved.  There was some concern that use of the temporary table would cause too
much overhead.  I conducted a test with ten identical shouts using without using the temp table and ten shouts
using the temp table.  On average, use of the temp table increases your page load time by 0.004 (4 thousandths)
of a second. Given such a narrow margin, I believe that you would need to experience more than 1000 clicks a
minute before experiencing any performace problems.
